STOCKDALE HIGH SCHOOL
INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC
BOOSTERS
Please join us as we embark on this wonderful new year of music, fun, and memories!! The Band & Color Guard Boosters are a very involved group of parents, family, and friends who help with fundraising and logistics for this wonderful group of talented students. It takes a ton of hard work and sacrifice on our part to help fund the program and keep things running smoothly. Getting 202 performers from place to place is no small feat…between the bodies, instruments, props, uniforms, and color guard equipment, water, etc. it takes an army. Though the work is hard we receive a gift of a job well-done, laughter, memories, and the smiles of students. Please consider giving of yourself in some way this year. Everyone has different ways of getting involved—whether you can give an hour, a whole day, a case of water, or professional services/skills--everything is so appreciated.
Another very important point to keep in mind is that although we have very supportive school administrators, the district can provide very little funding for our program. We self-fund through student donations, fundraising, and community sponsorships. Without financial support from these sources, difficult decisions will have to be made in our ability to provide opportunities for our talented students to perform. The Stockdale High School Band & Color Guard Booster Club is a 501 (c) (3) organization. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. For your records, the tax identification number for the Stockdale Band Booster Club is: 77-0336825.
We hope to see you at many events this year.
